When you reach RMD age, the IRS instructs you to start making withdrawals from your Traditional IRA(s). These withdrawals are also called Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs). For some of you, 2024 may be the first year you are taking an RMD (those of you who are turning age 73). You will make them (annually) from now on.
